Job Description

10-4 Logistics USA is hiring CDL-A regional drivers based in Lewes, DE. This position offers consistent weekly home time, competitive mileage-based pay, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Drivers operate on a Northeast regional lane with typical home time on Saturdays and Sundays for a 34-hour reset.

Compensation and benefits

$4,000 sign-on bonus
$0.80–$0.85 per mile base pay
Average 1,500 miles per week, depending on hours and freight availability
Average length of haul approximately 400 miles
Up to $0.03 per mile performance bonus based on safety, mileage, and productivity
Additional stop pay: $20 for the first stop, $35 for the second stop, $50 for the third stop and beyond
Long Island delivery pay: $65
Detention pay: $12.50 per hour after 2 hours
Top regional drivers on this fleet can earn up to $1,850 weekly
Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) match; paid time off
Equipment: 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth tractors

Lane details

Runs include a mix of live loads and preloaded trailers across the Northeast regional network.
Primary operating area generally spans Virginia to Maine, with typical freight moving from Northern North Carolina through New England and as far west as Eastern Ohio.
Occasional routes outside the primary area may be assigned to maximize miles while maintaining weekly reset time.
Drivers who choose to stay out instead of returning home for their reset may be eligible to run additional weekend freight for extra miles and pay.
Willingness to drive in New York City is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Must meet DOT safety and medical requirements
Willingness to handle live loads and preloaded trailer freight
