Welder / Metal Crate Fabricator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable and an experienced Welder / Metal Crate Fabricator to join our team. This position involves MIG welding, ,fabricating, repairing, and assembling metal crates while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Pay Rate
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour - based on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday to Friday 12:15 pm - 8:45 pm
Welder / Metal Crate Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities
• Set up and prepare welding stations, equipment, and the work area before production.
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces by removing grease, rust, paint, and debris before welding.
• Weld, assemble, and repair metal crates and components according to specifications.
• Grind, cut, shape, and finish metal parts to ensure quality and proper fit.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and wear required PPE at all times.
Welder / Metal Crate Fabricator Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication.
• Experience welding and repairing metal crates or similar steel products is a plus.
• Ability to read measuring tools and follow work instructions accurately.
• Experience using grinders, cutting tools, and other metal fabrication equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
